Notification has been received that the above application is going to appeal. This is to be considered by written representations to arrive no later than 02/03/2010.

 

New Forest District Local Plan First Alteration and New Forest District Local Development Framework – Annual Monitoring Report
Members was advised that two copies of this document had been received, and would be kept in the office for members to view.

 

New Forest National Park Recreation Management Strategy – revised Draft
Copies distributed to members for information and possible comment.

 

North Solent Shoreline Management Plan – Public Consultation
The Chairman told members that a Public Exhibition covering the geographical area for Hurst Spit to Redbridge was being held at the New Forest District Council Chamber, Lymington on the 1st February 2010.


Lymington Local Distinctiveness
It was agreed to postpone the meeting scheduled for the 2nd February to the 11th March 2010 as it was felt there would not be enough time for members to gather information on their designated areas.

403. Footways

Cllr. Hawker informed members that during the recent cold weather the Council’s ground staff had made an outstanding effort to keep pathways in St Thomas’ churchyard clear and gritted for public safety and she felt that this should be acknowledged. The Chairman said she would write a letter of thanks to them.

404. Transport

Temporary Road Closure
That length of A337 Southampton Road, Lymington between its roundabout junction with Wellworthy Road and a point 100 metres south of that roundabout.


It is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than between 0035 hrs and 1035hrs on 28/02/2010.

 

Pelican Traffic Lights, Southampton Road
A copy of Mr Merrick’s letter to the New Forest District Council’s Road Safety Officer voicing his concerns about the Pelican lights outside his shop was circulated to members by Cllr. Hawker for information.
