Lymington Safer Neighbourhoods team get new wheels

Lymington Safer Neighbourhoods team will now be able to patrol the area more easily thanks to Lymington and District Neighbourhood Watch.
The group have funded the purchase of two new purpose built police patrol bicycles.
Acting New Forest South Inspector Nick Adams said: “The bikes are a tremendous asset and have proven to be very effective in tackling crime.
“I’m grateful to our friends from Lymington and District Neighbourhood Watch, not only for their generous donation but also their invaluable support in keeping our communities a safe place to live, work and visit.”
Lymington and District Neighbourhood Watch cover the Lymington, Pennington and Brockenhurst areas and provide a vital link between the community and the police.
